I am an artist who has been trained as an attorney. For almost ten years, I lived on a steady diet of key facts, straight-up legal analysis, and persuasive writing. Now I am also fueled by the paintings I create.

I started painting because I wanted artwork for the walls of my house. I wanted the paintings to be certain size, and I wanted them to include particular colors. Eventually, images of what I wanted to see on canvas started to take shape in my mind, and I knew I had to paint them. I asked my artist friend where to start. She set me loose with a few supplies from her own stash, the advice that art comes from imagination, and that art can be created with anything.

I took her advice to heart, and I continue to create what I imagine. My work has been juried into group exhibitions organized by gallery owners in New York and San Francisco. I have also fulfilled commissions of artwork and prints of my original artwork to customers across the country.
